Part-time training as part of the state program TEP
What does TEP stand for?
TEP stands for“Part-time training: Supporting entry– opening up prospects” and is for people with family responsibilities.
Why TEP?
Over half a million young mothers and fathers under 35 are dependent on state benefits. Many have no training – starting out in working life becomes an obstacle course that is difficult to overcome with family responsibilities. We want to encourage these people, show them their opportunities and develop prospects together. To do this, we combine our many years of experience in entering the labor market and our strong corporate network with the access and knowledge of our network partners, who support these young families in life-related issues.
Training with family responsibility - we make it possible!
People with family responsibilities often find it difficult to gain a foothold in their careers. This is exactly where our program comes in.
Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs (MAGS), we provide targeted support in Essen, Mülheim and Oberhausen (MEO region) on the path to sustainable (part-time) training.
During the switch to remote offers due to the corona crisis and the technical equipment of our participants, it became clear that young people with parental and care responsibilities in particular benefit from such a model. For this reason, we have retained this approach, allowing us to work together regardless of time and place, strengthen participants’ IT skills and prepare them for an increasingly digital working world.
Despite the digital support, we offer regular face-to-face courses at our innovative teaching and learning location, the basecamp.
