Die Strategie 2030

JOBLINGE’s Vision 2030 – ambitious, but not rocket science

Germany is facing a twofold challenge: on the one hand, the shortage of skilled workers is growing – there will be a shortage of around seven million skilled workers by 2035 (Bertelsmann Stiftung, Fachkräftemonitoring 2024). On the other hand, hundreds of thousands of young people are losing out – even though many of them want to do an apprenticeship. We want to overcome this contradiction.

We want to support 100,000 young people in our programs by 2030.

Why we need to think big

In the 2023 training year, 2.86 million people between the ages of 20 and 34 were without formal vocational training, including around 1.7 million under the age of 30 (Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Vocational Training Report 2024). According to the Federal Employment Agency’s monthly report from May 2025, 257,595 young people under the age of 25 are registered as unemployed – 101,012 in SGB III and 156,595 in SGB II (Federal Employment Agency, monthly report May 2025).

In short, all these figures make it clear that there is a clear need for structural reform in the transition between school and work.

They illustrate the structural need for action and make it clear that labor market integration up to the first vocational qualification must be rethought.

What we want to change

Today, the transition system is often complex, fragmented and lacks transparency for all those interested in training. We are committed to a transition system that rewards the impact of measures.

Our position is clear:
A system is needed that reaches all young adults and gives them real opportunities for training.

It must not just be about promoting deficits – and not just focusing on one group of young people. All young adults who need support should have access to support services.

Three programs, one goal

Our vision is based on a continuous chain of impact from activation to successful completion of training:

  • PLAN A activates: We activate and inspire young people for the topic of training, via social media, street speeches or in schools
  • JOBLINGE core program: We provide intensive training and support until a suitable apprenticeship is found.
  • basecamp provides support: We support trainees throughout their apprenticeship until they successfully complete their training.

100,000 is not just a number. It is a signal for system change – towards an effective, fair system that opens up real opportunities for young people. Every apprenticeship start achieved is a step along this path.

Sie fragen sich, wie wir diese große Zahl an Jugendlichen erreichen wollen? Durch strategischen Wachstum! Hier setzt unser Impact Fund an.

JOBLINGE Impact Area – the PLAN A numbers!

PLAN A has been impressively successful – several thousand young people have already registered since 2023! But what’s behind these figures? Here we explain how PLAN A reaches young people who would otherwise fall through the cracks and the role our innovative approach plays in this. 5.000 young people registered with PLAN A since 2023! More and more young people have no training and are increasingly difficult to reach. Around 628,000 young people are not in education, training or employment and remain lost in the school-to-work transition as they are difficult for the system to reach (so-called NEETs). However, PLAN A addresses young people where they actually are – on the street or on social media. Because at JOBLINGE, our primary goal is to help as many young people as possible into training and the world of work in the long term. To achieve this goal, we take various approaches
