Project background
The ESF Plus model program “Rat geben – Ja zur Ausbildung!” is designed to help overcome barriers to accessing vocational training.
The target group is the direct caregivers of young immigrants or the young descendants of immigrants at the transition from school to vocational training.
Reference persons are people who are regularly in the young people’s immediate environment and help shape their everyday lives; these include parents and relatives, social workers, sports instructors and teachers from clubs.
A structural approach is pursued by training and strengthening important reference persons from the young people’s immediate environment in their role as advisors and sensitizing them to their special role.
